Job Description:

VEQTOR is looking for full-time Research and Quality Technicians to perform support testing on equipment at a major pharmaceutical client. These tasks will include inspection, grading, scanning, and organizing data results within a GMP environment. Candidate must be highly detail oriented and have excellent documentation skills, understand data entry and integrity. This position will give exposure to continue to grow career with the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.Open to entry level candidates with a technical degree within life science or engineering, or candidates looking to make a move to the industry from a different sector.Candidate must reside within daily driving distance of the client site, in the Bloomington, IN area.

Job Duties

  • Creation of Knapp test kits to be used during Knapp performance studies
  • Perform and provide oversight of the Knapp performance studies 
  • Maintain and report on study timelines, as well as attend project meetings, when applicable
  • Compile and analyze study data
  • Generate study final reports

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Entry-level position – Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred but not required
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
  • Understand the importance of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Experience working cross-functionally and, at times, independently
  • Experience working in a high-paced, high-energy environment with potentially stringent project timelines
  • Basic knowledge and experience working with simple handle tools (i.e. Dremmel saw, heat gun, sharp edges)
  • Corrected 20/20 vision for working with inspection sets
  • Local to either the Bloomington/Indianapolis areas or able to easily commute to site
