Validation Engineer

Job Description

VEQTOR is currently looking for mid to senior level Validation Engineers with a focus on qualification of facilities, utilities, equipment, process, computer systems and cleaning validation. Engineers may be responsible for managing, inspecting, testing instrumentation, equipment, mechanics, processes, and procedures used to manufacture various high quality and regulated products.  Required to ensure all systems are running correctly and efficiently and possess investigational skills to determine causes of equipment failures or anomalies.  Candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule and practice under code of ethics.  Must have a prior experience in highly regulated environments, and experience in managing validation projects, development of documentation, and/ or execution of various validation projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in equipment, utility, facility, equipment qualification, or process validation
  • Knowledge of Validation policies and documentation for various systems and processes
  • Interpreting Customer Requirements
  • Current knowledge in Industry Standards such as cGMP, cGDP, cGLP, ISO 13485, GAMP
  • Writing – Protocol generation and execution which requires in-depth knowledge of the product to be able to determine what the necessary output is and if it is meeting predefined criteria
  • Testing of Equipment
  • Developing Validation Schedules
  • Organizing Data
  • Documenting and reporting the analysis of test results
  • Reviewing and maintaining of technical documentation
  • Providing evidence of both internal and external compliance
  • Troubleshooting in the event of abnormal testing results
  • Ensuring accurate records of all validation activities
  • Ability to identify and assess corrective actions
  • B.S. in Science or Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 2+ years validation experience preferred, however candidates with related experience will be considered

  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and a team player
  • Ability to perform critical analysis of situations and provide recommendations
  • Problem solving, creative thinking, and interaction with upper management and design teams
  • Experience in pharmaceutical is plus

Job Description

VEQTOR is currently looking for a Project Engineer with experience managing technical and engineering projects such as qualification of facilities, utilities, equipment, process and cleaning validation.  Required to work with stakeholders at all levels, with responsibilities including budgeting, personnel and project scheduling to deliver a successful outcome.  Ability to interpret needs, expectations, and limitations of each stakeholder, and bring them together with the goal of meeting project timelines.  Familiarity with risk assessments and overall project safety.  Must have a prior experience in highly regulated environments, and experience in managing validation projects, development of documentation, and/ or execution of various validation projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Interpretation of the desired outcome into a detailed plan that can be implemented by a project team
  • Planning and forecasting of the project
  • Acquisition of needed staff, materials, and equipment
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal company stakeholders
  • Keeping the project on schedule
  • Keeping the project on budget
  • Managing the project team
  • Ongoing reporting of the project progress
  • Ensuring all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to company SOPs as well as external regulations, including maintenance of project documentation
